All Dharma Club members assemble at Kuching Waterfront as early as 7.00 a.m. to participate in Earthday 2000 event. This event is launched at about 8.00 a.m. and ends at about 10.30 a.m.

Monday, 15 May 2000

A short meeting has been held to discuss what activities that can be carried out during Wesak Day. Our President proposed that we all join in activities which are organized by Kuching Buddhist Society (KBS).

Wednesday, 17 May 2000

All members gather together to have a brief meeting on what we will be going to do during Wesak Day. There will be a Wesak Day Eve tonight at KBS, food fair also at KBS tomorrow morning and street procession at Padang Merdeka tomorrow night.

Thursday, 18 May 2000

This morning from 7.15 to about 11.00, all members come to KBS to help in selling the vegetarian burgers during Food Fair there. At night from 7.15 to about 9.00 at Padang Merdeka, all Buddhist associations and organizations throughout Kuching as well as all schools' Dharma Clubs participate in the Street Procession.

The President, Vice President and Secretary attend a meeting at Kuching Tze-Yin Buddhist Orthodox Association. We have a brief meeting on installation, singing, games, presentation and chanting.

Saturday, 17 June 2000

All our club members attend today's important meeting to discuss about a great event which will be held on 1st and 2nd next month. There will be a monk from Taiwan coming to Kuching  to give us talks on Buddhism.

Friday, 23 June 2000

All our members gather together again to discuss further detail  about the event. We are divided into two groups to help at the Perpaduan  Stadium.

Sunday, 25 June 2000

All our club members and other members of Buddhist organizations assemble at Indoor Stadium for rehearsal. Our members are given responsibility  to assist guests when they are inside.

Saturday - Sunday, 1 July 2000 - 2 July 2000

All members attend the Dharma event and help other Buddhist organizers from about 8.00 a.m. until 9.30 p.m. There are Dharma talks by Venerable Master Chin Kung from Taiwan.

Thursday, 6 July 2000

All members attend a meeting to discuss various matters such as 3 Days 2 Nights Buddhist Camp, Dinner Party, Buddhists Exam. We also discuss what to do for tomorrow's Prayer Session.

Friday, 7 July 2000

Today's Prayer Session, our board members encourage new members to help us and involve in this session. Since we cannot watch VCD as VCD projector is not available, we use our backup plan, "Self Evaluation Activity".
